Sony Vaio manufactures and supplies Sony Vaio Laptops. After Microsoft's launch of Windows 7, Sony offered an upgrade to certain customers and had a short timescale to deliver a pan-European solutions which integrated with Sony CRM as well as Sykes - who provided the finance and order fulfillment.

EBS integrated the Sales Order Process with a branded webship, including multiple languages and curriences. Interfaces to Sony determined laptop eligibility, while interfaces to Sykes enabled ordered fulfillment. Automated documents can be generated in each language.

The solution enables Sony to deliver to a large volume of customers in a highly concentrated time period, while web-based technology and processes ensure a low cost per transaction.
